IMMI Team Begins Construction on New Home for Family in Need

March 16, 2015, (Westfield, IN) – As part of their company‐wide IMMI Serves initiative, IMMI team members will gather Friday morning inside their studio building to construct the walls on a new home for an Indiana family in need.

Working with Habitat for Humanity on this project, the effort underscores one of IMMI’s core values to serve people. Their IMMI Serves initiative allows team members across the globe paid days to serve in the community. Other IMMI Serves projects include Make A Wish, dressing up as superheroes to lift the spirits of sick children at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital and Riley Hospital for Children, as well as global efforts to support migrant children in China, and Christo Vive, a rehabilitation home in Saltillo, Mexico.

The Habitat for Humanity panel build will begin at 7:30 am with completion of the home’s new walls expected by noon. Team members from the office, operations, and CAPE, IMMI’s crash test facility, will participate. When construction is completed, the walls will be raised to show the floor plan of the new home.

“It’s a blessing to not only operate a business that works every day to literally save lives and reduce injuries, but also to be given the privilege to serve others,” said Tom Anthony, IMMI President.

“We’re looking forward to working with Habitat for Humanity on this project,” added Larry Gray, IMMI CEO. “Owning a home is part of the American dream, and we’re excited to help make that dream come true for an Indiana family.”
